ATLANTA -- Working moms often have trouble finding time for themselves. But the husband of this week's ambush makeover candidate says she does just fine.

In an e-mail, Clayton Marlow wrote:"I don't know what they can do to her to make (my wife) look any better."

Still, he knew that she would enjoy the pampering, so he asked reporter Corinna Allen and her ambush make over team to pay his wife a visit.

The kidnapping took place at Casie Marlow’s office. From there, they whisked the petite mother of two away to Beth Ann's boutique in Buckhead.

Stylist Tiffany Stone introduced Marlow to a line called "Jane Darling" that offered workout-inspired styles that can easily go from day to night.

"It's all washable, it doesn't wrinkle,” explained Stone.

The next stop was the Richie Arpino Salon, also in Buckhead. Arpino took off a full four inches of damaged hair, before throwing in some highlights and passing Marlow on to makeup.

Stylist Carime Randolph completed the look with a set of fake eyelashes." They actually look really natural, just more dramatic,” explained Randolph.

Finally, Arpino styled Marlow’s hair with something called a “Divado.”

A small, concave piece of soft plastic, the “Divado” has a hair comb attached to the underside. It’s designed to be fitted onto a woman’s head, then covered by a comb-over. That creates a bump style that would otherwise require teasing or back-combing of the hair.

At the last minute, the team ushered in Marlow’s husband for the big reveal.He was less than thrilled by her shorter hair, but she loved it.

“Short hair makes me look younger!” she cheered.
